Our People

Michael D. Gaynor

Mike Gaynor joined Battle Winslow in 2017 after practicing for 15 years in another local law firm which he joined after graduating from Campbell Law School.  Mike maintains a practice focusing on Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Corporate Law and Wills and Estates.  His clients include companies purchasing a business or real estate related to their business, individuals purchasing their first home and those who need a will or to settle the estate of their deceased loved one.  Believing that understanding clients’ needs is the most effective way to represent them, Mike attempts to build a strong relationship with each of his clients.

Mike and his staff work closely with realtors, lenders and title insurance companies to insure that real estate transactions run smoothly from beginning to end.  Additionally, when working with businesses, preparing estate plans or settling estates, Mike believes that a team effort with CPAs and investment advisors is the key to achieving the best outcome for his clients.

Mike’s first job was working on his family’s farm where he was paid little but learned to appreciate the value of working hard for a desired result. He carries that lesson to work with him each day.  Mike and his wife Winnie, a local educator, spend a great deal of time watching their two teenage daughters’ sporting events, but in his limited free time you will find him in a duck blind or out on his boat.
